Episode 1 – The Inaugural Blind Sparkling Wine and Champagne Tasting
Welcome to the very first episode of Sip & Learn with Gabriel: Wines from Around the World!
Pour yourself a glass, settle in, and join us as we launch a journey of discovery through the fascinating world of wine. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, an enthusiastic beginner, or simply someone who enjoys sharing a great bottle with friends, there’s a seat waiting for you at our table.
For our inaugural episode, we explore the elegance and diversity of traditional-method sparkling wines, featuring celebrated selections from Champagne, France, before concluding the evening with a classic red wine from Tuscany, Italy.
What made this tasting especially memorable was that it truly was a blind tasting in every sense. Wine consultant and host Gabriel, who is blind, was joined by his greatest supporter and partner, Anthony, along with a wonderful group of close friends from the Miami area who are also blind. Together, they demonstrate that wine appreciation extends far beyond sight. It is about engaging all of the senses, sharing perspectives, discovering new aromas and flavors, and creating unforgettable conversations around the table.
Fresh off earning his Specialist in Champagnecertification through Comité Champagne, Gabriel invites listeners to learn alongside him as he explores wines from around the world, one glass at a time.
