ACB history buffs, this week we will discuss chapter 12 in Part 4, Afterthoughts, in People of Vision: A History of the American Council of the Blind, by James J. Megivern and Marjorie L. Megivern. This is a “must read” and will consider theories, ideas, and provide fodder for discussion of our ACB organization as we have moved forward. Will history continue to repeat itself? What have we learned from our history? ACB presidents, past and present, have been invited to speak next week on Tuesday, October 12. We will then decide where this discussion group will travel. Is this the end? Or shall we read another book?
