“Get ready for another cooking adventure.This time: Samoa Cookie Bars.If Cooking along, you will need the following:1 cup unsalted butter, softened, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut11 oz caramel candies or 1 cup caramel sauce, 2 tbsp milk, 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (optional), Mixing Bowl, Baking SheetI take requests for future recipes or if you want to present a cooking demo.

On Sunday, February 8, the Super Bowl takes place in Northern California, and leaders from the American Council of the Blind will be there exploring a new device that makes football more accessible for people who are blind. Tuesday Topics will feature Kolby Garrison and others sharing their experiences with this technology, along with similar tools being used in other sports. We will also discuss earlier sound-based systems used at the Australian Open tennis tournament and how these advances are changing the way blind fans enjoy sports.
