Get ready for another cooking adventure. This time: Quiche and Cornbread with Guest Sharon. If Cooking along, you will need the following: Quiche Ingredients: One unbaked 9inch deep dish pie crust. , Aluminum foil and pie weight such as dried beans or dried rice for baking. Custard filling ingredients: 4 Eggs , 1 and 1/3 Cups Half and half. you can substitute whole milk. Don’t use skim milk. , Salt and fresh pepper to taste. Filling ingredients: 8 strips bacon or cubed ham. , 1 and 1/3 Cups Shredded cheese. , Fresh or dried chives to garnish. If making a second quiche, substitute bacon for spinach. Second quiche filling: 1 1/3 cup, chopped and cooked spinach, dried thoroughly. One and 1/3 cup cubed smoked Gouda cheese.
