Holocaust Museum

None of us want to think about this horrendous but important time in history. This museum focuses on life in Poland and talks about not just the Jewish people who were persecuted, interned and murdered but also those with disabilities and other ethnicities. Lunch from a local deli will be provided as part of this tour. Our box lunch will include three mini sandwiches, plus a fruit cup cookie and a bottle of water.
Accessible Prescription Advocacy 2030

Come learn what public policy makers in health care are focusing on and how your advocacy team can utilize these objectives to their own advantage, including creating a culture of accessibility in the pharmacy industry! Healthy People 2030, published by the DHSS Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, is a set of data driven national objectives to improve the health and well-being for our nation over the next decade. Health People 2030 has nearly 300 objectives including 14 vision related objectives as well as health literacy, health equity and social determinants as key priorities.

Beach Day

Swim, sit on the beach, enjoy lunch and play beach games. We’ll do it all at Bangs Lake. There will be lifeguards and a gazebo for anyone who wishes to be out of the sun. Guide dogs are not allowed in the water and the sand will be very hot so it is advised that you consider leaving your dog with a friend at the hotel. Lunch will include a sandwich, chips and cookie.

The tailgate party starts before the Brenda Dillon Walk and will remain open during the walk and for a time after the walk concludes.
