20240521 Herbies Community Cooking Corner

Participants joined me along with special guest Hailey (My former instructor) for another cooking adventure. This time: Hamburger Soup. If cooking along, you need the following:
- 1 ½ lbs. ground beef or chuck, cut into cubes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 stalks of celery, finely chopped
- 4 carrots, finely chopped
- 1 can of tomato soup
- 3 cans of beef consommé
- 1 can of water
- 1 bay leaf
- 8 Tbsp barley
- 1 (28oz) can of stewed or diced tomatoes
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ tsp parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cutting Borad and knife if not using pre-chopped vegetables
