To Mobility And Beyond From October 22 2020

Members of the ACB Environmental Access and Transportation Committees will present timely information on transit, paratransit and navigating life as pedestrians who are blind and visually impaired. Come ready to learn, to share your own experiences and to ask your transportation and environmental access questions. This month: Hosts Koni Sims, Lyle Sine, and Patrick Sheehan will talk with participants about: the CARES Act, what happens when it runs out of money? Life in rural areas; more pedestrian access and new configurations to virtual bus stops. We’ll also discuss the current paratransit paradigm and what are the challenges post COVID? We look forward to hearing from you and exploring next steps to take in our transit journey to keep ourselves safe, independent and on the move post COVID.
