20221024 Area Agencies on Aging – Are They Meeting the Needs of Those with Vision Loss

Members of the Alliance on Aging and Vision Loss have been surveying their local area agencies on aging to determine, among other things, the extent to which they serve the needs of people who are blind or have low vision and their inclusion of our population in planning for their programs and services.
AAVL vice-president, Anisio Correa and aging and vision loss expert from AFB, Neva Fairchild, discussed the findings of that survey and answered questions about area agencies on aging. We also invited anyone who may still be attempting to obtain survey results to discuss their efforts.
